Hey there! What is a library? well! to me a library is a temple of learning. A book is the life and imagination of an author. A book is a treasure of wisdom. Thus, every college tries to have the best books in their library.  When I entered the library for the first time  to  read books , I first went  to the librarian and  asked for the book.  After giving me the book, the librarian  gave me all the rules and regulations for the library. Then I went to the chair and started reading the book . I spent nearly an hour in the library.  While reading the book , I saw many people doing their  work, some were listening to the music in earphones , some were reading the books, some people were waiting for someone .  The library there was   very  peaceful and had a low sound.  Everyone was engaged in their work. Hi Friends I would like to share my experience at the Library too because we had a lesson on this topic in our English Communicative Class. Library used to be the best place for me and my friends. The librarian was very friendly. She was always  friendly with us. Until that one day, I can never forget.... This happened, when I was in 9th standard,  my friends and I went to the library and said hello to the librarian but she didn't reply. Then, we picked a book to read. Suddenly, the librarian shouted at us. She was so loud and furious. We were shocked.  We all knew her as someone is always calm and polite. She had a very loving and friendly nature but that day, she had turned into an angry bird.  After some time, when she felt better, she told us why she behaved so rudely. Life is strange for many of us right now.  For some of us, working from home was an easy switch – for others such as doctors and nurses it’s not possible at all.  But how do you work from home if you’re responsible for teaching and nurturing the next generation? Here, I, Veena Hoskatta, English Trainer, at VCMIT, would like to share what life is like for a teacher in lock-down and how I'm been using everything from new technology to the post to keep life as normal as possible for my students. For our students who are at home, my colleagues and I are using technologies to help teach most of our students with home learning remotely. We have also prepared and posted non-IT based lessons to our students where it’s been needed.
